Only two months left before the 2018 CAPN in Shanghai!

Only two months left before the 2018 CAPN in Shanghai!

LCS's swimmers keep training in preparation for the 2018 CAPN, which will be held in March in Shanghai!

Swimmers are training hard for the CAPN (Asia-Pacific Championship).

Meanwhile, they are taking part in many NSW competitions. They have a really busy schedule!

1.    St George Swim Club Australia Day Meet (27/01/2018)
2.    2018 MetSEA Speedo Sprint Series (03/02/2018)
3.    SOPAC 2018 LC Qualifying Meet (17/02/2018)
4.    Auburn Summer Mini Meet (18/02/2018)
5.    Sans Souci Sea Devils Summer Meet (24/02/2018)
6.    Speedo Sprint series, FINAL - SOPAC (10/03/2018)
7.    Carlile JX Meet (25/03/2018)

They showed commitment once again and clocked personal bests at the two first competitions.

  • Lucille, Zazou, Achille, Lucas and Samuel were present in Brexley. Lucas managed a third-place finish in 50m Free Style at his very first federal competition!
  • During the under 13-year-old Speedo Competition at SOPAC, swimmers smashed records!
Alyssa, Amelie,  Ariane, Geneviève, Karim and Louis from LCS's Programme Identification de Talent / Lucille, Lulani, Joséphine, Noémie, Achille, Omar, Samuel from LCS's Sports section
Alyssa in backstroke and freestyle, as well as Karim and Omar in breaststroke, qualified for the NSW Speedo Sprint series finals at SOPAC on 10 March 2018.
Our three finalists will defend the colours of their own club and not LCS's, which is a shame for the school. However, they will proudly wear LCS's jersey during the competition!

All swimmers showed real sportsmanship and supported their peers.
These two first competitions of 2018 bode well for the 2018 CAPN!

Congratulations to everyone!
