Asia Pacific Reading Contest "AZIMUT"

Asia Pacific Reading Contest "AZIMUT"

From Monday 4 to Friday 8 December, 2017, the first part of the Asia Pacific Reading Contest "AZIMUT" was held at the theater.

This competition, open to students of Year 5, 6 and 7, offers children the opportunity to discover 5 books for youth and to elect their favorite book.
This year it is "Ulysse 15" by Christine Avel, "Le gand mensonge de la famille Pommerol" by Valentine Goby, "L'Homme Bonsaï" by Fred Bernard and François Roca, "Christophe Colomb et le Nouveau Monde" by Hélène Kérillis and Jaouen Salaün, and "Le Jour où j'ai trouvé un trésor"by Séverine Vidal and Vincent Sorel.

The 180 students of Year 5,6 and 7 of the Lycée Condorcet had the opportunity to compete successively, in pairs, in three inter-level tests, around the first three books.

They had previously conceived questions, charades, rebuses and words mixed up for the attention of their classmates.

The fight was tough and the Year 5 students (CM2) showed their elders that they could be formidable opponents.

Congratulations to all the candidates for this first round!

And Rendez-Vous to the end of the second quarter for the second round... To be continued!
