Fifth Student Exchange with International Grammar School

Fifth Student Exchange with International Grammar School

Vincent L. from International Grammar School (IGS) spent the first week of his holiday at the Lycée Condorcet from 9th to 13th December 2013. He has just completed his Year 10 and will continue his French studies in his HSC. He was welcomed by his two buddies: Milena, from Yr 11 IB, whom he had welcomed and guided at IGS last August and Omar, one of his new classmates in Yr 11 ES. Vincent’s first class on Monday was Philosophy, a subject which is not taught in Australian schools. No doubt he noticed many more differences and enjoyed a host of new experiences during his exchange. The Première ES teachers and students enjoyed getting to know such a pleasant, polite and kind-hearted young man.

This exchange was the fifth in a program that allows students from both schools to benefit from a unique cultural and pedagogical experience without missing any of their normal classes and at no extra cost.

Students from Years 10 and 11 will have the opportunity to go to IGS during their holiday in August 2014, just before the start of the new French school year. Parents or students should contact Mrs Hamilton if they are interested in participating.
