Five Teams Dedicated to Your Child's Education

The Lycée Condorcet team is made up of over 150 dedicated staff members who work daily to provide quality education to your children. This includes our management team, the administration, maintenance and IT teams, native French-speaking and native English-speaking teachers and teaching assistants. LCS also has a Vie Scolaire team, a French particularity that assists students outside of class, a student wellbeing unit, a career guidance officer and many other specialised staff members committed to giving your children the best possible education and support.

Nicholas L'Hotellier, principal at Lycée Condorcet International French School of Sydney

Nicolas L’Hotellier, Principal

Nicolas possesses extensive experience in bilingual and international education, with a special focus on wellbeing and developing international programs. Nicolas holds a joint Master’s degree in mathematics from ULP Strasbourg and the University of Warwick, as well as a Master’s degree in management with a focus on administration of public schools from the École Supérieure de l’Éducation Nationale. He taught Mathematics before becoming Assistant Principal at collège and lycée level in the Paris region. In 2009 Nicolas joined the Lycée Français de New York where he spent twelve years as Director of Secondary and then Associate Head of School. He is the proud father of two boys who are enthusiastically joining Lycée Condorcet.

Monsieur Antony Jonkx, proviseur adjoint du Lycée Condorcet de Sydney

Antony Jonkx, Deputy Principal

Originally from Franche-Comté, France, Antony obtained a Master’s degree in Law. A true globetrotter, Antony has worked as a Senior Education Consultant all over the world – France, USA, Morocco, Vietnam  – and as Deputy principal in Bolivia before joining LCS in 2015. He is in charge of the pedagogical management of the Secondary School and the organisation of exams. When he is not reading, Antony likes to discover new landscapes by motorbike, his favourite means of transport.

Patrice Possenti, Primary Director

Originally from Lyon, France, Patrice pursued studies in economics and history. With experience ranging from preschool to CM2 classes, he later served as a master trainer and educational consultant. An educator and director since 2005, Patrice joined LCS in 2023 after serving as director at the French Lycée in London and San Francisco. He has a strong commitment to multilingual approaches and language education development. His perspectives on languages, sports, and digital applications in education will undoubtedly contribute to shaping a dynamic and enriching learning environment for all our students at LCS.

Préma Desrosiers, Business Director

Originally from South India, Préma has lived in Paris, Besançon, Nantes, Le Mans, and finally Wallis and Futuna, where she worked as a management controller and assessor. With extensive experience across five distinct ministries, Préma has settled in Sydney this year with her family, excited to contribute to the campus’s development in close collaboration with her team.
Beyond her diligent financial oversight within the institution, Préma nurtures a passion for reading and travelling, constantly exploring new horizons both in books and in reality.

Craig Ashe, Head of human resources

Craig was appointed as Head of Human Resources in November 2022. His role involves partnering with the Executive Team to nurture an innovative and caring workplace culture for all our staff, focusing on their development, health and wellbeing. He has over 25 years Management Consulting experience in the NSW Independent schools sector, and in corporate development positions in the government and banking/financial services sectors. Craig has a keen interest in organisational behaviour, with a special focus on change management programs. He holds qualifications in Social Sciences, Human Resource Management, change management and internal auditing, and is a Professional Member of the Australian Human Resources Institute and the Institute of Internal Auditors Australia.

Elise Lombrage, Marketing, events and Communication director

Elise Lombrage is originally from Marseille, France, and studied philosophy and communication at La Sorbonne Paris IV. After working for more than 10 years in NY, Paris, Sao Paulo and Sydney in luxury, real estate, art and culture, she decided to settle down in Sydney to explore new opportunities. Elise is in charge of all communications, marketing and events at LCS, and is in daily contact with the school community. She is in charge of relaying all the LCS highlights and organising unifying events throughout the year.
